M’Liss has designed an exclusive line of fabrics featuring a variety of vibrant colors – a M’Liss specialty – and some of her favorite and popular themes.  Her artsy floral groups include:  M’Liss’s Garden, Garden Court, and Spring Bouquet - all inspired by her gardens. In addition, her new line of fabrics also incorporates the travel-themed Experience the World with M’Liss, and the whimsical feline collection simply entitled, Meow.  “These designs were very fun to do.  And, because they are pre-coordinated, they will save customers time,” said M’Liss.  All of the fabrics are 100% cotton, with a total of over 40 designs available at a price of $6.99 per yard.  Look for additional collections, including a dog-inspired line, to be available in stores later this year.

Learn to Quilt At Your Local

Highlighting the Jo-Ann Creative UniversityTM class schedule are the Experience Quilting with M’LissTM class offerings.  Quilters at any skill level, from beginner to advanced will benefit from this curriculum designed by M’Liss exclusively for Jo-Ann. The classes represent a combination of techniques and tips from M’Liss’ many years of teaching quilting. Sessions teach everything needed to begin and finish a quilt – from color theory, fabric selection, and rotary cutting to sewing, machine quilting, binding and labeling.  “Quilters can benefit greatly from being in a group setting,” said M’Liss. “Sharing in the creative experience, consulting with one another on colors, and sharpening skills can all be great advantages of attending a class.”
